Tennis champ Rafael Nadal serves up a steamy video with Shakira

Love On The Rocks: Shakira moves in close to tennis champion Rafael Nadal in a scene for the video for her new single Gypsy

Rafael Nadal's sex appeal clearly extends much further than the boundary lines of the tennis court.

The former Wimbledon and French Open up a storming ace as he gets up close and personal with sexy Colombian singer Shakira.

The pair nuzzle up and roll around together on what appears to be some rock face, the chemistry sizzling between them.

The South American star, 33, leaves little to the imagination with her revealing outfit, which appears to be just a chiffon scarf strategically wrapped round her modesty.

Not that Nadal, 23, seems to mind, as he - fully clothes in jeans and a T-shirt - moves in closer to the singer as she snuggles in deep to him.

But before their other halves seethe with jealously, it's all in the name of music - Shakira's video for her new song Gypsy, to be precise.

Up close: The couple nuzzle noses and snuggle up

The pair filmed the video for the song, which is due out in April, in Barcelona last month and hung about together while in the Spanish city.

Both are happily settled in long-term relationships, with Shakira engaged to Antonio de la Rúa, the son of former President of Argentina Fernando de la Rúa.

Nadal, who is often nicknamed The King of Clay, is dating his high school sweetheart Maria Francisca Perello.

A couple of stars: Shakira and Nadal stare up at the night sky

Holding hands: They gaze into each other's eyes

But that didn't stop the rumour mill turning and hinting at a relationship developing between Shakira and Nadal, after the New York Post's Page Six reported that they were 'whispering and all smiles' as they had lunch together at the city's W Hotel.

Nadal's spokesperson, Benito Perez-Barbadillo, denied that the pair were romantically involved and insisted that Nadal's manager Carlos Costa, and video director Jaume de Laiguana were also at the restaurant.

He told the New York Post: 'We were all there, and Shakira only came when we'd finished the main course to have something to drink, accompanied by her manager, Ceci Kurzman, and Jaume.

'It was a dinner organised with the director to brief Rafa on what was expected from him in the video.'

Nadal is not the first tennis star to make a cameo appearance in a pop star's video.

Anna Kournikova starred alongside Spanish pop star Enrique Inglesias in his video for his 2001 single Escape, and they started dating after meeting on set.

Ahn Jin Kyung releases solo MV and Mir looks badass

[starttext]
Once a member of Korean groups To-Ya and ZINIS and a leader of Baby V.O.X Re.v., singer Ahn Jin Kyung wanted to be seen in a new light through her work as a solo artist. She was able to reveal a different image in the MV for her latest single Bad Person featuring Mir of MBLAQ on the 17th.

Although Mir’s rapping in the song is only brief, he leaves a hard-hitting impact on the ear. His appearance in the MV also reveals a much more mature side of him. Who knew the goofy maknae of MBLAQ could be such a badass?

It’s nice to see the MBLAQ members branching out to help other artists whilst showcasing their own talents outside of the group. First, Chundoong was featured in Lynn’s New Celebration, then G.O in J.ae’s Even If We Can’t Speak of the End, now Mir in Ahn Jin Kyung’s Bad Person. Can we expect Seungho and Lee Joon partaking in a musical collaboration as well? I sure hope so.

Ahn Jin Kyung will be performing her solo track on the comeback episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown on the 18th.

The 'Wizards of Waverly Place' actress opts to sing Jason Mraz's song before dancing to 'Tik Tok' with a young fan.

Selena Gomez shaked her body to Ke$ha's hit single "Tik Tok" during a recent visit to Kidd Kraddick in the Morning Show. The Alex Russo of "Wizards of Waverly Place" was accompanied by the host and a female young fan.

Before dancing to "Tik Tok", the Disney star sang her acoustic rendition of Jason Mraz's track "I'm Yours" with the host strumming the guitar. But, the pop singer was forced to cut it out, admitting that she doesn't know the song lyrics.

Last week, Selena Gomez's concert at the Emerald Square mall in North Attleboro turned into a riot. Several people were injured and emergency medical services (EMS) were called to the scene to give medical treatment.

An eyewitness testified that a throng of fans in the first floor raced to the second floor via escalator when Selena was spotted about to give her performance. The overloaded escalator suddenly began to slide in the reverse direction, throwing some of them to the floor.

The double-video premiere witnesses will.i.am and Fergie feuding over Black Eyed Peas' future in the next millennium

Black Eyed Peas' "Imma Be" and "Rock That Body" music videos are debuted back to back under new title "Imma Be Rocking That Body". It kicks off with will.i.am explaining his vision about the group's future in the next millennium. Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie who disagrees with the idea leaves the group in outrage, driving a BMW motorcycle. Then, the video is rolled, featuring lots of futuristic scenes.

The video was shot in a desert road in Lancaster, California on January 13 and directed by Rich Lee. The filming process was once forced to be halted when a sudden gust of sand swept the set and made it an unsafe environment for the artists and crew.

Both "Rock That Body" and "Imma Be" are taken from Black Eyed Peas' chart topping album titled "The E.N.D." which has pulled in more than 5 million copies worldwide since being released in June last year.

2NE1 conquers music charts after three days

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6dA-kUAWX8endofvid
[starttext]
Step aside, Tiger. It’s been a long time coming, but 2NE1 is here now–to steal the year of 2010, that is.

After debuting with their first mini-album, the fierce foursome dispersed momentarily to pursue solo activities that were wildly successful in the music industry. On the 9th, 2NE1 surprised us all when they released their first single of the year titled Try To Copy Me out of the blue.

President of YG Entertainment Yang Hyun Suk stated, “Initially, there wasn’t going to be a music video for this song, but because of the positive reaction from the public, we are taking it into consideration. The official decision will be made by YG Entertainment’s music video producers and directors.”

Only three days after the song’s release, the hip-hop track has escalated at an alarming rate to the top, even surpassing senior artists like SNSD and 2AM on some music charts. SNSD, in particular, has maintained a consistent success rate ever since the “Gee Syndrome” so it was reasonably expected that they would dominate the early half of the year again. However, both the media and the public are now suspecting the power of nine may waver with 2NE1’s official comeback.

Whose that girl? Pixie Lott looks unrecognisable in a brunette wig in the video for new single Gravity

People catching a glimpse of Pixie Lott's new video could be forgiven for wondering just who was singing.

The blonde teenager looks unrecognisable as she dons a brunette bobbed wig for her new promo Gravity.

In a feathered mini-dress, thigh-high boots and heavy make-up, Lott looks a world away from her usual style of cute mini-dresses and hippie hairbands.
Scroll down to watch the video

The video, which premiered on T4 on Channel 4 on Saturday, features Lott performing a variety of dance styles.

Gravity, the fourth single from her debut album Turn It Up, tells the story of a woman fighting hard to leave her lover, but keeps getting pulled back to him, just like gravity.

In the video, Pixie tries her hand at ballet, contemporary and burlesque dancing in a selection of different outfits.

Getting feathered: Lott frolics with an oversized feather boa as she dances in her thigh-high kinky boots

Take off: Lott looks like she's ready to defying gravity and fly like a bird

Blonde ambition: Lott with her usual long blonde hair last week

Gravity is set for release on February 22, and Lott is hoping the song will be as successful as her previous singles.
In the past eight months, Lott has had two numbers ones with Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh) and Boys & Girls and a number 12 hit with her ballad Cry Me Out.

The 19-year-old is preparing for the Brit Awards later this month, where she is up for three Brits Awards.

She has been nominated for British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act and British Single at the ceremony, which takes place on February 16.

Lott attended the awards herself two years ago when she was a student at the Italia Conti stage school.

She recalled: 'They invite stage schools to fill the audience, so two years ago, when Amy Winehouse performed, I was there, screaming with my friends in the rehearsals.

'The bit on the floor is where the kids go and the bit above is where they have the tables, so we were all looking up going, “Wow...” I had no idea that the year after I’d be up there.’

Meanwhile, Lott admitted she is thinking of getting a tattoo in honour of her fans after seeing Lady GaGa's new etching last week.

She said: 'I was thinking of getting a tattoo but I don't want to get it where you can see it - I could get a tattoo for my fans like Lady GaGa did.'

Going to the dark side: Lott goes for the dramatic look with her fake eyelashes and dark red lipstick

Jay-Z was another star entertaining the baseball lovers with his hit single. The rapper was seen on the big screen performing "Run This Town" with Rihanna's recorded voice. Holding the golden Super Bowl trophy, he was accompanied by Rutgers Symphony Orchestra.

The half time of the game show was filled with The Who's live act. This band brought together their songs, such as "Pinball Wizard", "Baba O'Reilly", "Who Are You?", "See Me, Feel Me" and "Won't Get Fooled Again", for a medley performance.

That catsuit's Rated R! Rihanna surprises fans with daring outfit at pre-Super Bowl concert

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DSACkjWQYoendofvid
[starttext]
The two day event comes ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl XLIV, where the Indianapolis Colts will take on the New Orleans Saints.

She's become famous for her eccentric stage fashion, and last night Rihanna didn't disappoint as she took to the stage in in Miami, Florida.

The pop star paraded around on stage at the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam in a peculiar one-shoulder, one-leg catsuit that featured white trimming.

Her black strapless bra was on show, and she completed the look with fishnet tights, black leather gloves and huge blonde quiff.

The ensemble was created by styling duo Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi, who regularly work with Rihanna on her costumes and red carpet attire.

She stormed the stage with a medley of her hits, including Wait Your Turn, Disturbia and Russian Roulette.

Another eccentric number: Rihanna performed at the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam in Miami in a cut-away catsuit

The Barbadian star is one of a host of celebs who singed up for the concerts, including Timberland, who joined her onstage during the set.

A second gig will be held on today, featuring the likes of Nelly Furtado, Paulina Rubio and Pitbull.

The event will be hosted by Entourage star Kevin Dillon and former Access Hollywood host Nancy O'Dell.

Crowd pleaser: The singer performed a string of hits, including Wait Your Turn, Disturbia and Russian Roulette

Hair raising: Rihanna teamed her unusual outfit with a huge blonde quiff

The performance is the latest in a long line of promotional appearances for her album, Rated R.

Rihanna, who turns 22 later this month, has been working overtime in an effort to build up sales, which have so far been steady.

She has sold just over 571,000 copies since its release in November.

She has done considerably better than her ex boyfriend Chris Brown, who has sold around 258,000 copies of his latest release Graffiti.

Queen of pop: Rihanna reigned supreme from her favourite white throne

It has been 12 months since they were involved in a violent argument while driving home from a pre-Grammy party which left her badly battered.

RollingStone.com deputy editor Caryn Ganz told CNN: 'In the immediate aftermath of the incident, there was all of this 'dead' talk - nobody will work with him, he'll never be able to sell another record - and that's turned out to not be true.

But she noted:'Rihanna is clearly doing better than he is, both in sales figures and public reception.'

VIDEO SPECIAL: Oh Africa, oh dear! Akon releases official World Cup 2010 song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YI4sDx6SGwAendofvid
[starttext]
The biggest and best global sporting festival will kick off in South Africa in just 126 days time and as the globe counts down to the main event there's just one question on everyone's lips: who will sing the official theme song?

Today we got our answer as r'n'b superstar Akon together with Keri Hilson and The Soweto Gospel Choir released their effort - 'Oh Africa'.

A lively number featuring plenty of rhythmic chanting and African background singing, the song includes the usual inspirational lyrics that don't really make much sense - chorus: 'This our time to show, our time to fly, our time to be inside the sky; our time to so, our time of song; the last one in football.'

The accompanying music video is a colourful affair, full of smiling, happy people celebrating the greatest show on earth - as it should be.

Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres are enlisted to don their shooting boots and help paint a mural of some of the finest footballers set to feature in the World Cup: Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry, Kaka and... Andrey Arshavin. Whoops.

Some of the home nations might also get a little over excited when they see the many faces painted with national flags of competing countries, one of which seems to be the Union Jack.

But, before the Scottish FA gets a little hot under the collar, a gentle reminder: no, it is only England who are heading to South Africa this summer.

But now the burning question of the World Cup anthem has been answered we must all now wait with bated breath to see whether England will themselves release an official World Cup theme. The way John Terry is alleged to have been carrying on it looks like there can only be one suitable song: Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division.
